The Acting Director, ECOWAS Community Computer Center, Mr. Osei Tutu Agyman - Duah had launched the website for the West African Market Information System Network (WAMIS -NET) of the ECOWAS Commission on Wednesday.According to him, this will:- enhance the regional market information system network for the promotion of the agriculture sector; help in achieving food sustainability of the sub region; the website would enable member countries take advantage of agriculture information and practices across the region; help the region to explore means to share best practices in promoting the agriculture sector and ensure that information about products and their prices are readily available to the local and regional (West African States) markets and as well made available in the internet.July 08, 2013
