Thank God, the 4-day Kenyan Westgate mall siege is forever over! yes I say 'forever over' because we are believing God that this kind of senseless act will never happen again not only in Kenya but in and around the world, Amen!!!
Meanwhile, Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta, who addressed the nation few hours back said that a total of eleven (11) terrorists were arrested and five (5) of them killed, 61 civilians and six (6) soldiers were killed in the deadly amok while about 200 people were injured and 65 people still unaccounted for. He therefore declared three (3) days  mourning.
May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace, as we continue to pray for the quick recovery of the injured.

Two Men Suspected To Be Human Eaters In Lagos Escape Mob Attack...

According to CKN Nigeria, the two men pictured above were alleged to be cannibals and human flesh eaters and luckily escaped lynching in Lagos .The duo, Alaba Abiodun and
Samuel, who were allegedly eating human flesh, were almost set ablaze by the ever restless Lagos crowd around Ikeja. The story goes like this, a passer-by along the rail line in Ikeja saw three men in tattered dresses. One of them was making a call and one eating a meat suspected to be human flesh. The passer-by raised an alarm that attracted the mob which instantly pounced on the two suspected human parts eaters. But the one making the phone call managed to escape.
Their problem was compounded when the mob moved to their hideout behind the Ikeja Local Government Secretariat fence and found a cutlass, knife, charms and meat with fat which the mob suspected to be human flesh. When a detachment of policemen from Area ‘F’ arrived the scene, Abiodun told them, that he was a carpenter but had no money  to set up a workshop. Abiodun claimed to be from Akiniku in Moloney area of Ilaro, Yewa, Ogun State, South west Nigeria. He added that he made the hideout his residence as he could not afford to rent a room for himself. He explained that the meat discovered in their hideout was a cow fat which they eat and not human parts.
After intensive questioning, the policemen were convinced that the suspects were mistaken for human parts eaters and sellers by the mob. They were later released.

Photo: British Court Showcases Ibori's Sumptuous Mansion!!!

It says the lavish mansion staffed by cooks, maids and chauffeurs was just one of a portfolio of properties across the world worth over $10 million (6 million pounds) in total that Ibori acquired while governor of oil-producing Delta State from 1999 to 2007.
Footage of the property at Clement Isong Street in Abuja, taken by Nigeria's Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) when it searched the home this year, revealed a level of luxury unimaginable to most of Nigeria's 170 million people. For more details click here

Photos: President Jonathan In NYSE & With President Obama !!!

President Goodluck Jonathan, yesterday, visited the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and rang the closing bell. #Jonathan who spoke ahead of the opening of the 68th session of the United Nations today, said that unless the international community unites and deploys its enormous resources to eradicate terrorism, it will continue to be embarrassed by terrorist outrages such as the heinous attack on defenseless shoppers in Nairobi at the weekend which both leaders strongly condemned.

"Cast your bread upon the water !!!

CAST YOUR BREAD UPON THE WATERS, FOR AFTER
MANY DAYS YOU WILL FIND IT AGAIN.
      ( Ecclesiastes 11:1-2 *NIV )

Dear Brethren,
Many people have wondered what is meant by "Cast
your bread upon the water, and you will find it."  Well, it is
An old Hebrew Idiom meaning to give to charity and it will
be returned to you.

After all it is written; HE WHO IS KIND TO
THE POOR LENDS TO THE LORD, AND HE WILL
REWARD HIM FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE. This is
because; THERE WILL ALWAYS BE POOR PEOPLE
IN THE LAND. THEREFORE I COMMAND YOU
TO BE OPENHANDED TOWARD YOUR BROTHERS
AND TOWARD THE POOR AND NEEDY IN YOUR
LAND.
( Proverbs 19:17 )  ( Deuteronomy 15:11 )

So, always remember those who are in need,
and the homeless among us; SO THE POOR HAVE HOPE,
AND INJUSTICE SHUTS ITS MOUTH.  AFTER ALL OUR SAVIOR
JESUS CHRIST SAID; 'I TELL YOU THE TRUTH, WHATEVER
YOU DID FOR ONE OF THE LEAST OF THESE BROTHERS
OF MINE, YOU DID FOR ME.'  Amen.
                                        ( Matthew 25:40 )

Have a Wonderful day, and may; THE
GRACE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST BE WITH YOUR
SPIRIT.  Amen.                    ( Philippians 4:23 )

All My Love & Prayers,

What? How Do We Make That Happen?

Joy!

"Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance." - James 1:2

Read that verse again. James is saying, “Consider it all joy.”

What? How do we make that happen?

And furthermore, if you look closely, he doesn't say, “IF you face trials.” God’s Word says, “WHEN you face trials.” In other words, it’s a given. He also doesn't say “trial.” It’s not singular – it’s plural. In other words, we’re going to have a lot of problems. Count on it.

Of course, that's not news to most of us. So many are going through very difficult trials right now. Loss of jobs. Facing financial difficulties. Prolonged illnesses. The trials of grief. Some have very unhealthy work situations or are facing relational challenges within your families.

So, you might ask, how can we have joy in the midst of trials when it’s contrary to human nature? Well, the person who is a follower of Jesus Christ can begin to understand joy amidst trials when they realize that their trials have a purpose.

Read the scripture one more time. When we go through trials, we can begin to build endurance, patience and perseverance. Sometimes it’s only when we come to the end of ourselves that we’re able to release those trials to God and say, “God this is too big for me. I can’t deal with it.” Then, we begin to see the power of God’s strength in our lives and, amazingly, we find joy in the midst of it...C.S. Lewis called it “Surprised by Joy.”

If you’re going through some difficult times in your life, hand them over to God. Trust Him enough to know that He will walk (or carry) you through all of it. He won’t let go. Once you have done that, and you realize you’re not alone, you’ll feel a smile creeping onto your face and a sense of joy will begin to flow into your heart. It really is amazing.
