BUT MY WORD WILL NEVER PASS AWAY!"...

AND JESUS SAID, "HEAVEN AND EARTH WILL
PASS AWAY, BUT MY WORD WILL NEVER PASS
AWAY!"
            ( Matthew 24:35 *NIV )

Dear Brethren,
Most people naturally assume that the Books of the New
Testament were written in the order that they appear in the Bible.
Now you may be surprised to learn that many of the Letters of the
Apostle Paul were actually written before the Gospels of Matthew,
Mark, Luke & John. For those Gospels were some of the last
books to be written, even though they appear as the first four
Books of The New Testament.

This is because, it is believed, the Apostles of Jesus Christ
were so convinced that He would return during their lifetime, that
they didn't feel the need to write them.  It wasn't until they became
much older that they realized that His return would probably not
occur until after their deaths.  It was then that they wrote them
for the generations of the future.

So today we will take a look at the actual year that each
Book of the New Testament was written!

There Are Some Things That "Self-Help" Just Can't Do

"All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work." - 2 Timothy 3:16-17

We are a nation that has access to so much information, whether it's good, complete nonsense, or even flat-out lies, that we think everything can be fixed by "googling" a problem! Have you ever noticed how much "self-help" information we have in our society? There are shelves full of books, radio programs, CDs, DVDs, internet pages, weekend conferences, and numerous talk shows that urge you to take a look at who you are and then change yourself by your determined will.

So, have you tried using some of that information and find you're still discouraged by repeating the same old habits? As Dr. Phil would ask, "How's that working for you?" Well, I'm sorry, folks, but there are just some things that "self-help" can't overcome - things like disease, overcoming certain sins, and most of all, death.

But I have good news for you. God has a plan for us that goes beyond our abilities. It's something supernatural. It comes through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, who can change us from within - where we can't change ourselves. As a bonus to that faith, He promises us victory over death, and eternal life. If you really want to help yourself, look beyond yourself to the only One who can save you and give you the ultimate victory - Jesus Christ....About Right From The Heart

Give Your Friends An Opportunity To Serve...

"A friend loves at all times." - Proverbs 17:17a

You've been there. You are having a problem or even a crisis. There are people who could help you. You surely would like to talk with them. You reach for the phone and then your hand stops in mid-air. No, you tell yourself, I really can't bother them. So, instead of getting the advice and comfort of a friend, you continue to deal with your issue all alone.

We have lots of reasons for ignoring the potential comfort of friends. Maybe you are afraid they will think your issues are silly. Perhaps you haven't spoken to that old friend since you were going to college together - ten years ago. Maybe you've had a spat. Or perhaps you fear they would be insulted that you would even think about bothering them.

Okay, let me ask you a question. If that person were to call you up and ask for your advice, would you help your friend? Of course you would. In fact, you would probably go to extraordinary lengths to help. Most everyone likes being asked for advice or assistance. It makes them feel important and valued. So why not show them that same respect and give them the opportunity to serve?

Whether you have a friend to call or not, there is always someone you can reach out to for help. You don't even have to pick up the phone. His name is Jesus, and you can connect to His line any time through prayer. He's waiting - why don't you give Him a call?... www.rightfromtheheart.org.
