102-Year-Old Chinese Woman Who Had Her Toes Broken For Beauty, Wealth At Age Two...

Han Qiaoni from Yuxian County in northern China's Shanxi Province, was one of the millions of Chinese women who bound their feet to turn them into 'three-inch golden lotuses' or San Cun Jin Lian.'
This Chinese custom  which dated back to the Song dynasty between 960 - 1279AD became popular when LI Yu, who ruled over China between 961 - 975 was said to have fallen in love with a dancer who bound her feet to look like a new moon and performed a 'lotus dance.'
This then made them believe that having small feet was seen as beautiful and status symbol - often the only way for a woman to marry into money. Hmm!!! Girls living in the countryside felt they had to bound their feet to marry rich men. According to Uk's daily mail, it is believed that around 40 to 50 percent of Chinese women had bound feet during the 19th century however, the practice had been banned since 1912.
Now, Han Qiaoni pictured herein, who's thought to be one of the few remaining women in China with bound feet is suffering for beauty. More pictures down...

Bad One! An 18-Year-Old Dies After Collapsing During Practice !!!

The late Milo Meeks (pictured above), an 18-year-old Florida high school basketball player died on Saturday after collapsing at practice a day earlier. According to foxnews, doctors would not disclose the cause of Meeks' death on Sunday afternoon, but Ben Bromley, a junior varsity basketball coach at Armwood High School in Tampa said, "He was on a ventilator, his heart shut down, his lungs shut down and his fever spiked."
Quite a pity!!!

Lipstick? Hmm! Watch It?

Latest findings from the University of California, Berkeley's School of public Health have it that most lipsticks contain lead, cadmium, chromium, aluminium and five other metals in the products, of which some are contained at levels high enough to distort a healthy living. visit www.drweil.com for more details.

The Complications Of Wanting Wealth

"For they that will become rich fall into temptation and into the snare of the devil and into many unprofitable and hurtful desires, which drown men into destruction and perdition." - 1 Timothy 6:9

When a rather selfish TV character was reminded that money doesn't buy happiness, she quickly replied, "Oh, of course it does. That's just something we tell poor people to keep them from rioting." Not only does money not buy happiness, but the desire to be rich can add many complications to your life.

The Bible makes it clear that the desire to be rich brings many new temptations into your life. What are some of those temptations? Well, it can be the temptation to lie or to steal. It can be the temptation to use and even run over other people to have more wealth. It can be the temptation to defraud other people to have more wealth. This focus to have more and more money can cause one temptation after another and the next thing you know, we can find ourselves doing things we never thought we'd do. We can make life a mess. When wealth becomes our priority, we are not willing to acknowledge that all we think we own is God's and that victory with money—be it a little or a lot—is using His money in a way that pleases Him.

Wealth earned honestly can be a blessing. It can do a lot of good. But the desire to be rich, so we can spend it or hoard it for ourselves, can cause us to give into all sorts of unhealthy temptations...About Right From The Heart

Try And Show Some Love To Someone Today !!!

FOR I AM PERSUADED THAT NEITHER DEATH NOR
LIFE, NOR ANGELS NOR PRINCIPALITIES NOR
POWERS, NOR THINGS PRESENT NOR THINGS TO
COME, NOR HEIGHT NOR DEPTH, NOR ANY OTHER
CREATED THING, SHALL BE ABLE TO SEPARATE
US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD WHICH IS IN CHRIST
JESUS OUR LORD.
            (Romans 8:38-39 *NKJV)

Dear Brethren,
God fills us with His love, and He wants us to share that
great love with others. So; BELOVED, LET US LOVE
ONE ANOTHER, FOR LOVE IS OF GOD; AND EVERYONE WHO
LOVES IS BORN OF GOD AND KNOWS GOD HE WHO DOES
NOT LOVE DOES NOT KNOW GOD, FOR GOD IS LOVE.
                                        ( 1 John 4:7-8 )

So why not show your love for others each and every day.
After all, it's written; YOU SHALL NOT TAKE VENGEANCE,
NOR BEAR ANY GRUDGE AGAINST THE CHILDREN OF YOUR
PEOPLE, BUT YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS
YOURSELF: I AM THE LORD.    ( Leviticus 19:18 )

Now you can do that by being a good friend, and lending a
hand when someone is in need.  It is also as simple as smiling
and saying hello to every one you meet, and asking them how
their day is going.  Therefore let your love light
shine brightly. Yes indeed; LET YOUR LIGHT SO SHINE
BEFORE MEN, THAT THEY MAY SEE YOUR GOOD WORKS
AND GLORIFY YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN. (Matthew  5:16)

Most important of all, remember what Jesus said; YOU SHALL
LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL
YOUR SOUL, WITH ALL YOUR MIND, AND WITH ALL YOUR
STRENGTH.' THIS IS THE FIRST COMMANDMENT. AND THE
SECOND, LIKE IT, IS THIS: 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR
AS YOURSELF.' THERE IS NO OTHER COMMANDMENT
GREATER THAN THESE."  FOR THEN WHEN YOU DO, GOD WILL FILL YOU
WITH THE SAME AMOUNT OF HIS LOVE IN RETURN!  Amen.
( Mark 12:30-31 )

Have a Wonderful Week
