Law To Allow Men Marry Their 13-Year-Old Adopted Daughters Passed!!!

Iran has passed a new law that allows men marry their adopted daughters at the age of 13, this act had  caused major concern that the country's new president is not as progressive as originally thought. President Hassan Rouhani has been hailed as a new moderate voice in the controversial Middle Eastern government but the approval of the new law shows that the extreme beliefs in the intolerant country have not evaporated.
The law was approved by the Iranian members of parliament and maintains that girls can marry with the permission of their father at the age of 13 and young boys at the age of 15. Hmm! Danger to children as the new law will allow for girls as young as 13 to get married and those younger than that age only require the permission of their fathers to do so.

Do You Feel Lonely On Life's Way? Then Read This For Solution...

PERFUME AND INCENSE BRING JOY TO THE
HEART, AND THE PLEASANTNESS OF ONE'S
FRIEND SPRINGS FROM HIS EARNEST COUNSEL.
          ( Proverbs 27:9 *NIV )

Dear Brethren,
As you know a good friend is worth more than gold, for they
will stick by you through good times or bad. For; A MAN
WHO HAS FRIENDS MUST HIMSELF BE FRIENDLY, BUT THERE
IS A FRIEND WHO STICKS CLOSER THAN A BROTHER.
                                                ( Proverbs 18:24 )

Jesus Christ is such a friend, for He has said; YOU ARE
MY FRIENDS IF YOU DO WHAT I COMMAND. I NO LONGER
CALL YOU SERVANTS, BECAUSE A SERVANT DOES NOT
KNOW HIS MASTER'S BUSINESS. INSTEAD, I HAVE CALLED
YOU FRIENDS, FOR EVERYTHING THAT I LEARNED FROM MY
FATHER I HAVE MADE KNOWN TO YOU. (John 15:14-15)

Therefore I will share a poem with you about our dearest
friend, Jesus Christ.  I hope that you will enjoy it!

                The Dearest Friend!

              I have a Friend in Jesus,
              He's ever walking near
              To share my every burden
              And take away my fear.

              It's in His precious name I pray
              To our God above;
              It's through His sacred teachings that
              I learned the way to love.

              God did not put me on this earth
              To walk life's path alone;
              He sent His Son to be my Guide,
              The dearest Friend I've known.

              No other One could be so true,
              He bore the cross for me;
              Because He died for my sins
              I must ever faithful be.

              If you are lonely on life's way
              And feel that no one cares,
              You have a Friend in Jesus
              If you will kneel in prayer.
                                    Poet, Kay Hoffman

Well, Guess What?

Worship Much?

"Come, let us worship and bow down;" - Psalm 95:6a

Worship. What is worship, anyway? Well, worship is an act of religious devotion usually directed towards a deity. An act of worship may be performed individually, in an informal or formal group, or by a designated leader.

Well, guess what? Worship is the number one ministry priority in our church. We hope and pray that the weekend worship will be the most exciting and meaningful event of each person's week, a place for Christians to get their spiritual batteries charged, and a place for seekers to find God.

Soren Kierkegaard, a Danish philosopher in the 19th century, once clarified the most common misconception about worship using the analogy of a drama. "When we come to worship God, we generally feel as though the preacher and other ministers are the performers and God is the subject of the performance and we as the congregation are merely the audience...but this is a terrible misunderstanding of worship."

Kierkegard is describing a consumer-oriented approach, focused more on what we receive than what we give. Kierkegard goes on to say, "Authentic Christian worship is just the opposite. We, the congregation, are the performers. The preachers and other ministers are the directors of the performance and God is the audience."

Next time you worship, try this perspective. It just might make it a more meaningful experience...Right From The Heart
