Man Arrested For Impersonating Journalist!!!

The Nigerian Immigration Service, Lagos State Command, has arrested a 48-year-old man, Nick Udeh, for posing as a journalist and presenting fake documents to seek favours from the Comptroller of the command, Mr. Julius Ogbu. According to the immigration authorities, the suspect and others at large posed as employees of Newswatch Magazine and other media houses and wrote a letter to the comptroller requesting a meeting with him. The bubble, however, burst last Friday when the comptroller referred the suspect to the command’s public relations officer, Muyiwa Odunubi. Unknown to the suspect, calls had been made to management of the media house in question, including his scanned photograph, where it was discovered he had never been an employee of the company.

When asked what his real occupation was, the suspect said he was planning to migrate to the United States for greener pastures and said any criminal charge could affect his plans. The service said the suspect would be handed over to the police for further investigation.
Hmm! People beware of fake reporters ooo! Lol!!!

Two Robbery Suspects Arrested In Ibadan!!!

The two robbery suspects (pictured above), who specialised in snatching exotic cars in Ibadan were arrested by men of Special Anti-robbery Squad of the Oyo State Police Command. The state command’s Police Public Relations Officer, Olabisi Ilobanafo, according to 'The Punch' said, “A report was received on the day of the robbery incident that a car was snatched at gun point from the owner which made “Operatives from SARS to swing into action and after a thorough investigation, Dauda was arrested at a relaxation centre where he was drinking.”
Dauda’s arrest also led to the apprehension of another member of the gang, Idris Tirimisiyu, a caterpillar operator, who said he was also a part-time musician and diesel oil dealer. He said he met one Alhaji Ibrahim, who promotes musicians, at an event in Ibadan. Their brief relationship led to his being co-opted into the robbery gang.
He said, “I approached him to help me as a musician and he introduced me to Ike Adam. But our relationship did not last because of the gang’s fetish activities. “I was later contacted to look for a buyer for a Toyota Camry car and I got one chief who bought the car for N300,000. I was given N70,000 from the proceed.”
Tirimisiyu claimed that he was lured into another sale of a car which led to his arrest: “I was called by Dauda to get someone to purchase a Toyota Picnic car but when I could not reach the buyer, Dauda told me to come and meet him along the expressway where I walked into an ambush,” he said.
Confessing to the theft, Dauda said he was among the robbers that snatched the car from the owner and that he was waiting for a buyer at the relaxation centre where he was arrested. He also said, “When the police arrested me, I called Tirimisiyu to meet me at a location. That was how he was also arrested. “I was an auto mechanic but one man called Uche approached me one day and told me to keep a gun for him. “He told me that I could make quick money if I joined his group. That was how I became a robber. I have wife and a child but I have disappointed them with my action.”
Nigerian people, easy ooo!!!

Could It Be True? Well! A Senior Kenyan Anti-Terror Officer Says They Have No Doubt About That

According to Uk's daily mail, a shop worker had said that a woman who resembled 'white widow' Samantha Lewthwaite (pictured herein)sprayed her with machine gun bullets during the Kenyan mall massacre.

As the four-day siege ended yesterday, a witness said an AK-47-wielding ‘pale-skinned woman’ with long dark hair – the same as British Muslim convert Lewthwaite – locked eyes with her as she cowered beneath a box before opening fire from a balcony.
Amazingly, the woman, who gave her name only as Caroline, escaped unharmed as Islamists stormed the Westgate shopping centre.
She said: ‘She was high up but not far from me, close enough that I saw her looking along the floor where I was until she saw me.
‘She stopped and aimed at me and then opened fire. All of the  bullets did not hit me, I don’t know how that happened.
‘She stopped firing at me for a moment and looked away and I jumped up and ran around a corner and that’s how I escaped.
‘She had pale skin and long black hair, and was wearing a baggy black top. I can’t remember very much, but I remember she had pale skin.’
A senior Kenyan anti-terror officer last night revealed that police had received many witness accounts of a female attacker resembling the widow of 7/7 bomber Jermaine Lindsay. He added: ‘We believe that she was involved in the attack. We cannot doubt the eyewitnesses who say they saw her commanding the attackers.’
Kenya foreign minister Amina Mohamed also added: ‘The Briton was a woman... who has done this many times before.’
Oop! A woman said to have four (4) children for that matter!!!

Solution To Your Total Lack!!!

Do We Need, Or Do We Want?

"You ask and you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures." - James 4:3 NIV

How many of us can relate to this situation? One day, a man was late for a job interview because he couldn't find a place to park. As he circled the block one more time, he cried out, "Please God. This interview is so important. If you will provide a parking space, I'll be on the front row of the church every week!" Just as he spoke those words, a space opened right in front of him. "Oh, never mind," he said. "I found one."

Perhaps this man exemplifies the extent of many of our prayer lives. Some may say, "But, the Lord's Prayer tells us to pray for our daily needs!" Yet we often confuse our needs with our wants. We can get so wrapped up in praying for our wants that we begin to see God as just someone we can use to get what we want! That's a terrible misunderstanding of God.

Is God going to give you everything you ask for? Absolutely not! Loving parents don't give their children everything they see in a toy store, and likewise God is not some genie saying, "Your wish is my command." James 4:3 says, "You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures."

God wants us to seek His will so we can learn to understand our needs versus our wants. When we do, we can knock on the door of heaven and see God pour forth blessings to meet the needs of our lives...About Right From The Heart

I've Got Bad News For You

No Trace of Pretense

"Behold, I am insignificant; what can I reply to Thee? I lay my hand on my mouth." - Job 40:4

This is a special message and it's one that I didn't particularly enjoy writing. However, it needs to be said again and again.

This message is to all you church-going pretenders out there - the ones who look heavenly on Sunday, but live like hell Monday through Saturday. You look good on the outside but when God looks at your insides - inside your heart - it's a dirty mess!

I've got bad news for you. Jesus hates religious pretense. But I've also got good news. He loves the pretenders! He gave His life for hypocrites like you and me. The end of being a religious pretenders is to admit our sin separates us from God; then ask Christ's forgiveness; then believe to be right with God is your only hope for change.

And here's the irony: When we begin to be more real with God and with others, we begin to be more like Jesus. He's the only person who has ever lived without any trace of pretense....About Right From The Heart
