Nigeria
According to Daily Trust, the former Commissioner of Agriculture and chairman of Kogi State Agricultural loan's Board, Alhaji  Husseini Hassan had said during a one-day sensitization workshop themed "Entrepreneurship Transformation Agenda" organised by the Kaduna State Ministry of Rural and Community Development in collaboration with AGRO-MAN Consult Nigeria Limited, ran down poor patronage of government funds by rural and community development based entrepreneurs in the country due to total lack of knowledge of up to 80% of the people in this sector about such government support funds created by the Federal Government under President Goodluck Jonathan's-led administration.
He further said, that Federal Government has re-capitalized various development financial institutions among whom are Bank of Industry, National Economic Reconstruction Fund, National Commercial Agriculture Development Project and You Win, thereby promoting enterprise for the Nigerian Youth among others just for entrepreneurship development.
He gave the reasons why small and medium enterprises fail as lack of capital and adequate management skills.
