Ma Ailun's family had said that, the former flight attendant with China Southern Airlines, Ma Ailun, collapsed to the ground when she picked up her smartphone as it charged at home on Thursday. The bride-to-be, whose wedding was to hold on August 8, couldn't be revived by medics as she was later confirmed dead in Xinjiang hospital of northwest China.
Her brother, Yuelun, had told Apple Daily that Ma, might have died from an electric shock while answering a call.
Her sister, had also written on social networking site weibo: 'I want to warn everyone else not to make phone calls when your mobile phone is recharging'.
Apple had launched an immediate safety investigation into the company's iPhone 5.
