I Used To Regard Coconut As A Lesser Food; And Now What Motivated My Very High Appetite For Its consumption...(1)

Coconut, commonly called a 'tree of life' is of the genus cocos  specie. It got its name from 16th century Portuguese and Spanish coco, which means "skull" or "head" from the three small holes on the coconut shell that look like the human facial features.
Coconut is found in every nook and cranny of the earth with the countless uses of all its various parts. It contains a large quantity of water making it, more special  than other fruits. The oil and milk got from coconut is used in various ways such as, cosmetics, soaps, cooking and frying. The leaves and husks are equally used as material in making furnishing and beautifying even as there are cultural and religious connotations to it in so many societies that use it.
