The national currency had on yesterday's afternoon in Lagos declined 0.7 per cent to 163.35 Naira per Dollar, which is its worst level since June 2012 on a closing basis. Financial data compiled by Bloomberg earlier showed Naira has fallen 4.4 per cent against the Dollar this year.
Again, according to national mirror, the Central Bank data shows that Nigeria's foreign-exchange reserves had slid 4 per cent to 46.9 Billion Dollar on August 27 from a high this year of 48.9 Billion Dollar in May.
