1.0     The Nigerian Ports Authority is a government owned agency with offices in the under listed locations:

• Abuja Liaison Office

2.0     The Authority wishes to recruit suitably qualified candidates in its Marine Division as follows:

a.     ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER          MSS 2

b.     PRINCIPAL MANAGER                                MSS 3

c.      SENIOR MANAGER                                      MSS 4

d.     MANAGER                                                         MSS 5

e.     ASSISTANT MANAGER                                SSS 1

f.      NAVAL ARCHITECT                                      SSS 2

g.      SENIOR MARINE OFFICER                      SSS 2

h.     SENIOR MARINE ENGINEER                  SSS 2

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

3.0     For (a) above:

1.     Master Mariner Class 1 Foreign Going (FG).

2.     A degree or HND in Nautical Science is an added advantage

3.     12 years post qualification experience.

4.0     For (b) above:

1.        Same qualification as in 3.0 (1) above plus

2.                 9 years post qualification experience

5.0      For (c) above:

1.  Same qualification as in 3.0 (1) above plus
2. 6 years post qualification experience

6.0       For (d) above:

1.      Same qualification as in 3.0 (1) above plus

2.     3 years post qualification experience

7.0       For (e) above:

1.      Same qualification as in 3.0 (1) above

8.0     For (f) above: 

1.     Masters in Naval Architecture plus

2.     3 years post qualification experience

9.0      For (g) above: 

1.     Holders of Class 11 Deck Certificate of Competency Foreign Going (FG)

10.0     For (h) above: 

1.     Holders of Class 11 Marine Engineering Certificate of Competency Foreign Going (FG)

All must be computer literate

AGE: Applicants above 44 years of age need not apply except for positions 'A' and 'B'
